Venkata Padmavathi Institute of Medical Sciences (VIMS) has established by Venkata Padmavathi Educational Society (VPS) in the year 1999. the college is affiliated with Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences (SVIMS) Tirupati, The Venkata Padmavathi College of Physiotherapy is situated at Tirupati in the Andhra Pradesh . The institute is accredited by the Government of Andhra Pradesh and recognized by the Indian Association of Physiotherapists. The college is affiliated to Dr. Y.S.R University of Health Sciences.
The Venkata Padmavathi institute Of Medical Sciences has 4 years Bachelor of Physiotherapy course with 6 months mandatory internship. The college has an annual intake of 60 seats for Bachelor of Physiotherapy and 10 seats for master of Physiotherapy. At the time of admission, candidates should have passed 2 years Intermediate Examination (10 + 2) with Physics, Chemistry and Biology which include a practical each subject.

The college has well equipped and furnished classrooms and has laboratories with modern technologies. Venkata Padmavathi Institute has good spacious library with wide collection of reference material for BPT students. The college subscribe different textbooks, magazines, Journals etc... and has various books of national and international authors.
