The Gandhigram Institute of Rural Health and Family Welfare Trust (GIRH&FWT) was established in the year 1964 by Dr. T.S. The objective of the Institute is to promote implementation of National Health and Family Welfare programs in rural areas by conducting research studies in the field of Reproductive and Child Health, Rural Health and Family Health Activities.
GIRH Institution of education has the main responsibilities of equipping Students, Researchers, and Faculty. In particular library undertakes many responsibilities and performs varied functions and it plays a vital role to the education and research by providing invaluable resource for knowledge and services. The library provide quality services, facilitating access to comprehensive and relevant resources, and fostering good learning environment through the collection of physical and electronic documents from various sources and disseminate to patron.
