Established in 2009, Sri Ramana Institute of Polytechnic College, located in Moolaikaraipatti of Nanguneri Taluk, Tirunelveli District. It is a testament to the commitment of M.S.S. Educational and Charitable Trust towards providing quality technical education. Recognizing the significance of technical education, the trust initiated the establishment of this educational institution with a focus on imparting quality education, capacity building, and skill enablement to rural youth.
Aligned with the vision of Dr. Kalam, the institution aims to equip students with social and human values, enabling them to contribute to the realization of providing urban amenities in rural areas (PURA). The college campus, situated in the rural expanse of Tirunelveli District, has received approval from AICTE and the Tamil Nadu Government to conduct engineering diploma courses.
Under the affiliation of the Directorate of Technical Education, Chennai, the institution offers employment-oriented diploma courses, providing students with a modern educational system and the latest facilities. The objective is to prepare students to navigate the rapid changes in modern technology and meet the demands of industry. Presently, the institution has 500 students from the southern districts of Tamil Nadu, particularly from rural sectors, pursuing their academic careers.
