The college is affiliated to APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University, and offers courses that have been approved by the All India Council for Technical Education(AICTE), New Delhi. The college has 4 year B. Tech courses having Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Applied Science and Humanities.
The college has well infrastructure facilities for providing better education to every students. All teachers and well qualified and experienced who are conducting the classes. A good spacious library having wide collection of books, reference materials, magazines and journals etc and SIMAT also offers access to a very large number of Electronic journals that have been recommended by AICTE. To ensure comfortable accommodation, the college provide modern facilities, comfortable rooms, and conducive study areas. Each hostel has responsible wardens who ensure the safety of the students.
