The College offers 4 year MBBS Course having an intake of 100 seats. The college is under the affiliation of the TN Dr. MGR Medical University, Chennai, State of Tamil Nadu, India, and is wholly administered by the Government of State of Tamil Nadu. The Institute is recognized by the Medical Council of India, New Delhi, India.
The Classrooms are equipped with modem teaching aids and provided with comfort and safe environment for learning. The library is fully automated with a book bank, question bank, online journals, and a photocopier. The air-conditioned auditorium is 60,000 sqft in size, with a large stage, and a 2500 seating capacity. There are 6 hostels on campus 3 separate for female UG students, CRRI and post graduates. Similarly, there are 3 hostels for male students, all under the care of a warden and individual caretaker for each hostel building. There is a spacious gymnasium with a well experienced health instructor.
