Sarada Vilas College of Pharmacy was started in the year 1992-93 with D'Pharmacy course and B'Pharmacy course was added in the year 2004-2005. The college is affiliated with the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and also recognized by the Government of Karnataka. Bachelor Degree in Pharmacy requires a candidate to have cleared 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Maths (PCM) or Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB) or Physics, Chemistry, Maths & Biology as subjects.

The Classrooms are ventilated and spacious which has modern teaching techniques are used for effective learning. Clinical training and practical provided in hospitals. Sarada Vilas College of Pharmacy has various laboratories which are modernized and advanced. The auditorium is equipped with the most modern and audio-visual facilities. The auditorium is also an indoor Multi Sports Complex to host Indoor sports activities like Badminton, Volley Ball, Carrom, and chess. The cafeteria is located inside the College.
