RVS Homoeopathic Medical College was established in the year 2001. The College is located at Coimbatore District in Tamil Nadu. The Vision of the College is to provide value based medical education in Homoeopathy aimed at molding Homoeopaths capable of proficient and competent in patient care dedicated to the needy and the poor, and to propagate Homoeopathy, a safe, simple, scientific, economic and effective medicine for all.
The Candidates seeking admission to B.H.M.S. should have passed Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the Government of Tamil Nadu or an equivalent examination after 12 years of study of any state or Central Board accepted by the Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R Medical University. The candidates should have passed in the above examinations with the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Botany and Zoology. The College has well Ventilated Classrooms with good natural light provide each student a positive atmosphere for learning. The library boasts of yoga literature in the form of textbooks, journals, and periodicals. It has e-library facility that provides access to e-books, CD-ROMs, and e-journals through high-speed internet amenity. The College has high Standard laboratories equipped with most modern equipment for providing a world class experience to build practical knowledge. The campus houses well ventilated spacious hostels for girls and boys separately. The salient features of the hostel include self-contained toilet cum bath with hot water facility, study table with a cabinet to store books, wardrobes, etc.
