Nethaji College Of Physiotherapy - Mangalore

Nethaji College Of Physiotherapy was established in the year 2016 and the college is situated in Dakshina Kannada, Karnataka. Nethaji College Of Physiotherapy is affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. Physiotherapy includes exercise, massage and other modalities for providing treatment to those patients whose movement and functions needs treatment or injury, disease or environmental factors that affects the physical movements of the people. Duration of Bachelor of Physiotherapy is 4 year including compulsory internship of 6 months. Physical therapy Programmes Provide core field like manual therapy, therapeutic exercise and the application of electrophysical modalities, to the students.
For admission, candidate needs to be pass in 12th class or equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology also the candidate has passed in each subject separately.
The laboratories are well equipped with necessary instruments and equipment like microscopes, test tubes, measuring scales etc.. The college has a spacious library with a wide collection of textbooks and reference books of academic interest. The library includes a reading area with daily newspapers and magazines. The college also subscribes to a wide variety of Indian and international journals to promote the knowledge and encorage the reading habit of the students.
Separate hostels are maintained for boys and girls under the supervision of a resident warden. Strict discipline is maintained in the hostel to ensure that the students are focusing on studies and there are no external distractions.
