Montessori Institute of Medical Sciences-College of Physiotherapy provide better education in physiotherapy and meet the great demand for qualified physiotherapists in various hospitals and organizations, The college of physiotherapy has been started during the academic year 1999-2000, with the permission granted by the State Government. In order to provide the best training and experience to the students, the college has established clinical attachment. Bachelor of Physiotherapy is a 4 year course with 6 months internship and has an annual intake of 40 seats. For admission, candidates should have passed 2 years Intermediate Examination (10 + 2 pattern) with Physics, Chemistry and Biology which includes practical test in each subject.
The college has good spacious library with wide range of textbooks, magazines, journals etc.. and has various books of national and international authors which are helpful for the Physiotherapy education. Well furnished and equipped classrooms with comfortable sitting offers to every students. Modern technologies and equipments adopted in laboratories that helpful for the innovative and creative learning of Physiotherapy. Separate hostel for girls and boys are provided. Hostel warden has a supervision over the students residing in hostel. Healthy and delicious food given to every student and maintain the kitchen and dining hall in neat and tidy.
