Mangalam College of Engineering is affiliated to the APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University. The engineering college has different programmes such as Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical And Electronics Engineering, Electronics And Communication Engineering, Computer Science And Engineering, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Chemical Engineering.

The central library of Mangalam College of Engineering was established in the year 2002 and is functioning as an information centre catering to the needs of students and staff and providing better academic excellence. Hostel for boys and girls with excellent facilities have been provided inside the college campus. Both the hostels are provided with spacious mess and neat kitchens.
