The College is affiliated to APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University . The college is located at Vandithadom, Thiruvallam in Thiruvananthapuram, just 7 km from East Fort and Central Railway Station. The college has 4 year B.Tech course in specializations such as Computer Science Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering. M.G College has excellent faculties for imparting better knowledge to the students.

M.G college has separate hostel facilities for boys and girls which provides safety and security among students. Hostel warden has the control over the students. Students get healthy and nutritious food in hostel.
