The college is situated at Sullia, Dakshina Kannada. The KVG Institute is affiliated to the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), Bangalore. The college has 4 year Bachelor of Physiotherapy programme with 6 months internship with an annual intake of 40 seats.
KVG Institute of Physiotherapy giving knowledge about the science of movement, pain, helps people to restore, maintain movements, improve their function and overall well-being. KVG Medical College and Hospital was established in 2002. Physiotherapy encourage ability to move and avoid disability. By emphasizing on fitness and wellness, the college tries to developing a healthy lifestyle of every individual. The college provides various treatments for various ailments related to cardiovascular & Pulmonary musculoskeletal, Neurology, sports Medicine, Paediatric, Geriatrics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology and other specialties. The students get adequate clinical training in the parent hospital KVG Medical College.
The Institute provides 1 library facility with capacity of 1876 books and 50 journals. Other facilities such as Cafeteria Sports Complex Gym Hospital / Medical Facilities Wi-Fi Campus Auditorium Labs also provided for the students. The College has separate hostels for boys and girls and always tries to serve delicious dishes to the students. The college keep the kitchen and dining hall in a neat and tidy way.
