Karpaga Vinayaga Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre is recognized by Medical Council of India. Affiliated to the Tamil Nadu Dr.MGR Medical University. Allied Health Sciences courses includes Radiology and Imaging Technology (RIT), Operation Theatre and Anaesthesia Technology (OTAT), Medical Lab Technology (MLT), Medical Record Sciences (MRS). The institute has well – established 550 bedded multi super speciality hospital with hi-tech infrastructure, facilities and modern equipments to treat the patients.
Karpaga Vinayaga Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre has an excellent library as per International standards for students, faculties and researchers with large collection of books, journals and periodicals containing various fields of medicine and allied health sciences. There are two canteens in the college and hospital premises which serves tasty delicious snacks and hygienic meal food to meet the requirements of students, faculty &visitors at subsidized rates. There are two entrance ATM centres at the entrance of main gate for the students, faculties and patients’ relatives to withdraw money. There are separate hostels for boys and girls (for Undergraduates and Post graduates) with adequate number of spacious and well-designed rooms with attached toilet and bathrooms and required furniture like cot, table, chair. rack etc. Hostel mess consist of hygienic kitchen with modern cooking equipment and well-maintained dining halls, 24 x 7 drinking water & Tv room.
