This educational agency has played a pivotal role in reshaping the educational and social landscape of Kerala.
Established in 1986 as a private institution, the college initially catered to high school graduates from orphanages under DNIC. Affiliated with the University of Calicut in 1995, it entered into a Direct Payment Agreement with the Government of Kerala, transforming into a grant-in-aid institution. Notably, it became the first oriental college in Kerala to be recognized under the 2(f) & 12(B) Act of the UGC. In 2012, the Ministry of Minority Affairs, Govt. of India, accorded the college minority status.
Presently, the college offers two undergraduate programs, one postgraduate program, and a doctoral program. Nestled in the tranquil surroundings of Karuvarakundu Gramma Panchayat in Malappuram district, embraced by the Western Ghats, KTM College of Advanced Studies provides an ideal setting for academic pursuits.
In a significant move to expand its academic footprint and accessibility, the college transitioned to a regular arts and science college in 2018. With a commendable track record in both academic and non-academic domains, the college is committed to shaping a morally upright, academically proficient, and socially engaged generation of youth.
