JDT Islam College of Physiotherapy - Kozhikode

JDT Islam College of Physiotherapy was established in 2005 and it is located at Vellimadukkunnu in Kozhikode . The College is affiliated with Kerala University of Health Sciences (KUHS).It is purely a charitable institution. JDT Islam College of Physiotherapy is an institution that offers Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) and Master of Physiotherapy (MPT) Courses. Bachelor of Physiotherapy is a four and a half years Programme, with an intake of 50 students annually. Master of Physiotherapy (MPT) is a two year Programme with annual intake of 9 seats. MPT consist two specializations that are Physiotherapy in Musculoskeletal & Sports and Physiotherapy in Cardio-Respiratory. The college emphasizes quality clinical training and practical by making use of parent hospital IQRAA International Hospital and other multi-specialty hospitals. The college provides well equipped and furnished classrooms, library, laboratory, gym facilities for students. The college does not provide hostel facility.JDT Islam college of Physiotherapy started a Physiotherapy outpatient clinic & Rehabilitation center associated with college in the year 2012. In 2016 we opened a satellite clinic associated with located at heart of the Calicut city.Our Library’s mission is to make its resources available and useful to the students and to sustain and preserve the collection of knowledge and creativity for future generations. The salient features are audio visual aids, multimedia, internet etc.. All classrooms are equipped with a dry erase board, projection screens, computer systems, multi-media projectors and Smart boards.Development of students with a sense of discipline, responsibility and integrity is aimed by the College. Highly qualified and experienced faculty is an asset of the institution.
