The main aim of the college is to provide education to the poor, underprivileged group in the society is freely accessed especially from Tamil Nadu and Kerala. B. Tech Engineering has various branches such as Aeronautical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering. At the time of admission, the candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala, or Examinations majored in Physics , Chemistry and Mathematics subjects with at least 50% marks put together in these subjects are eligible for admission with valid score in JEE/KEAM.
The college has supportive experienced faculties for conducting the classes. All classrooms and laboratories are well arranged with latest technologies. The JCET Library is fully computerized, well equipped with modern facilities and resources. It has various books, printed and electronic journals, CD-ROMs, online databases, project reports etc. The library has a huge collection of books related with engineering, Management and humanities through various divisions. Separate hostel facilities provided for boys and girls. Each room is attached with separate washroom. Students get 24 hours cold and hot water. The rooms are furnished with Cots, Fans, Tables, Chairs, and with Cupboards.
