Established in 2013, Government Polytechnic College-Perundurai was founded in Perundurai with the aim of providing essential technical knowledge and skills to students in and around Erode District. Initially housed in the Government Boys Higher Secondary School at Perundurai, the institution later relocated to its current site along the National Highway in 2015, featuring permanent buildings across an expansive 8.23-acre campus.
