D or Doctor of Pharmacy is a professional doctoral degree program in Pharmacy that includes five years of classroom learning and one year of internship or residency. The first two years of the program usually cover the basic sciences such as anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, and pharmacology. In the following three years, students will learn about various aspects of pharmacy practice, including pharmacotherapy, clinical pharmacy, and patient care. The final year of the program is dedicated to a one-year internship or residency, which provides students with practical training in a clinical setting. The College is in Collaboration with pharmaceutical industries for internships, industrial visits, and practical exposure to manufacturing processes. The College has Qualified and experienced faculty members with expertise in pharmaceutical sciences. The College has adequate spaces for theoretical lectures, equipped with audio-visual aids for effective teaching. Pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmacology, pharmaceutics, pharmaceutical analysis, and pharmacognosy laboratories are available for practical training. A well-stocked library with books, journals, and research materials related to pharmacy and pharmaceutical sciences.
