College was the first medical college for Muslim Minorities in India, and the first Minority medical college in the state of undivided Andhra Pradesh. The college has 4 year BPT course with 6 months internship and the college has 2 year Master of Physiotherapy course. Kaloji Narayana Rao University Of Health Sciences will be conducted admission and allotment process for a Bachelor of Physiotherapy [B.P.T] government seat in government colleges, and in private self financing colleges in Telangana. For Candidates admission into the Bachelor of Physiotherapy Course should have passed 2 years of Intermediate Examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology which include a practical test in each subject.
The college has qualified and experienced faculties and they are the assets of the college. The college has well furnished classrooms for better physiotherapy education. Deccan college has good spacious library having wide range of text books, magazine, journals etc.. also various books of national and international authors. Modern laboratories using various kinds of technologies enable the students for introduce creative thinking and adopt latest methods in physiotherapy education. The college has separate hostel for boys and girls provide safety and security to everyone. Hostel warden has the supervision over the students. The students get delicious and hygienic food in the hostel mess. Staff maintain the hostel neat and clean.
