Dr Vyaghreswarudu Institute of Physical Medicine - Visakhapatnam

Dr. Vyaghreswarudu Institute of Physical Medicine, Visakhapatnam was established in the year 2001. The College is affiliated with Dr. N.T.R University of Health Sciences. The College is recognized by Indian Association of Physiotherapists. Dr.Vyaghreswarudu Institute of Physical Medicine College of Physiotherapy is situated in Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh state of India. BPT (Bachelor of Physiotherapy) is a professional course which runs for 4 and half years on full time basis. The courses prepares students to become highly competent practitioners in Physiotherapy. 6 months internship at the end of the course provides better practical knowledge.

The college has various facilities which create a caring, comfortable atmosphere which is conducive the development of students and faculty. All the laboratories are designed to inculcate conceptual and technical skills in students and is based on lectures, demonstrations, seminars, group discussions, practical training on patients etc. For BPT admission,  candidates who have passed Vocational Intermediate in Physiotherapy are also eligible and should have completed the age of 17 years as on 31st December of year of admission.
