Coimbatore Medical College was established in the year 1966. The College offers 5 year MBBS course having an intake of 200 seats. The College is under the affiliation of the TN Dr. MGR Medical University, Chennai, State of Tamil Nadu, India, and is wholly administered by the Government of State of Tamil Nadu. The Institute is a Medical Teaching Institute recognized by the Medical Council of India, New Delhi, India.
