C.U. Shah Physiotherapy College was established in the year 2004 under Saurashtra Medical Centre. The College is located at Surendranagar district in Gujarat. The College offers 4 year BPT course having an intake of 65 seats. In the year 2009, the institution started Post graduate education in Physiotherapy.
C.U. Shah Physiotherapy College was established in the year 2004 under Saurashtra Medical Centre. The College is located at Surendranagar district in Gujarat. The College offers 4 year BPT course having an intake of 65 seats. In the year 2009, the institution started Post graduate education in Physiotherapy – Master Of Physiotherapy (MPT) with a total sanctioned strength of 15 students and has increased to 21 students offering 3 branches of specialties named Musculo-Skeletal and Sports Physiotherapy, Neurological Physiotherapy, and Cardio-Pulmonary Physiotherapy. The College is affiliated to Saurashtra University, recognized by the Government of Gujarat, approved & recognized by the Indian Association of Physiotherapists (IAP).
The Campus is attached to 570 bedded Multi-Specialty Hospital & Medical College within the campus. The College has all facilities including Speciality Physiotherapy Departments with high tech equipments. The College has own library with ample number of International books & journals and all other requisites and amenities. The college has a well equipped computer laboratory for the students and faculties. It is equipped with networked computers, with USB Ports and Internet access. Hostel facilities with mess are available within the campus for girls as well as boys.
