Al - Ameen Dental College And Hospital - Bijapur

Al-Ameen Dental College and Al-Ameen Dental College Hospital at Bijapur is an institution established by Al-Ameen Charitable Fund Trust(ACFT),Bangalore in 1991 to cater the needs of religious minority community with forty students admission.The College offers BDS course which is recognized by the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore and Dental Council of India. 

The BDS course is usually a five-year undergraduate program, including both theoretical and practical training. The curriculum covers various aspects of dentistry, including basic medical sciences, dental materials, oral pathology, periodontology, orthodontics, oral surgery, community dentistry, and more. Students receive a comprehensive education in both the theoretical and practical aspects of dentistry. The Clinical training is a crucial component of the BDS course. Students gain hands-on experience in diagnosing and treating dental conditions under the supervision of experienced faculty. Clinical rotations cover different dental specialties, allowing students to develop a broad understanding of dental practice. After completing the academic requirements, students typically undergo a mandatory internship or residency program. This phase provides practical exposure to various dental procedures and patient management. There is a Auditorium in the campus equipped with the slide and multimedia projectors. A multigym facility with all the modern equipments like electromagnetic Tread-mill etc. available for all the students in the campus.
