The college is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka and recognized by Central Council of Indian Medicine, New Delhi, Government of Karnataka and Department of Ayush, Government of India. BAMS is an undergraduate degree program that focuses on the principles and practices of Ayurveda, a traditional system of medicine in India. The final year typically involves a compulsory internship where students gain practical exposure under the supervision of experienced practitioners.
