In 2002, Al Islam Charitable Trust secured affiliation for the college, leading to its formal establishment as Dayapuram Women’s College with an initial enrollment of 12 students. A significant milestone occurred in 2005 when the then Director, N. P. Ashley, spearheaded the change in the college's name to Dayapuram Arts and Science College for Women. Now in its 15th year, the college is undergoing a comprehensive repositioning and rebranding initiative, propelled by the collaborative efforts of academic volunteers from across India.
The campus spans eight acres and is equipped with modern infrastructure, including well-equipped laboratories, a comprehensive library, and dedicated spaces for extracurricular activities. Facilities such as hostels, a canteen, and medical support systems are available to ensure the well-being and convenience of students.Academically, the college offers programs in disciplines like Commerce, Physics, History, English, and Computer Science.
